Visit to Shotokan Karate Lodge 9752

On Saturday 11th November a small group of Bedfordshire Masons from Russell (4413) and Castle lodge (6124) took to the roads, well the trains… to visit Bro Robin Reid (now W.Bro) installed as the new Master of Shotokan Lodge (9752)

Meeting wasn’t until 7:00pm, however upon arriving at St Pancras and Euston at 2:00 we all met up in the local watering hole for that much needed refreshment, labour is hard work you know !

Shotokan put on a fantastic ceremony , W.Bro David Clarke CVO ADC, PJGD  handled the installation of  Bro Robin with aplomb , It was also good to see some of Russell Lodge brethren helping out in the ceremony (little did they know though…), W.Bro Dean O’Connell as Senior Deacon and W.Bro Paul Barker as Chaplin.

The festive board as always a good chance to catch up with old friends and new, but equally a great show put on by the new Worshipful Master , Shotokan Lodge is in good hands with W.Bro Robin at the helm.
